This design is named in honour of Carrie Derick (1862 - 1941), a botanist and geneticist who became the first woman in Canada to be appointed a full university professorship. Among many other accomplishments, she founded the Genetics Department at McGill University.
Each scarf measures 40.6 x 182.9 cm (16" x 72") and is available in 100% silk habotai with a complementary coloured durable baby rolled hem.
Care instructions for our silk habotai scarves: hand wash in cold water with a mild detergent. Do not bleach! Hang to dry. Iron on the cotton setting. May be drycleaned.
