Originally created to celebrate French Canada, O Canada was first performed in Quebec City in 1880. It took another twenty years for it to catch on in English Canada but in 1967 it was approved as our national anthem and officially adopted as such in 1980. Although some of the lyrics have been refined over the years, "true north, strong and free" (inspired by the English poet Alfred Lord Tennyson's description of Canada as "that true north") has - like the people of Canada - been steadfast for well over a century.

Our black classic baseball cap has taped seams, a leather strap closure and upscale black and silver faux leather emblem.
