Canuck Baseball T-shirt

Did you know?! The origin of the word Canuck is thought to be kanaka, the Hawaiian word for man.

At least two possibilities may explain how the word could have been introduced to Canada: through early 19th-century trade on the west coast of North America involving native Hawaiians or, alternatively, Hawaiians working on whaling ships on the east coast.

Today, Canuck has been adopted by all Canadians as a friendly nickname by which we refer to ourselves.
